Sam Wilson

September 2021

Sam Wilson is an author, screenwriter and director. I've known Sam for  almost 20 years and he is hilarious and awesome. Just look at that luxurious beard - that's real, no photoshop needed. He should be a beard oil model.

Rob van Vuuren

August 2021

Rob is an incredible actor and a wonderful friend, so Leigh and I knew he would deliver a strong look and wouldn't become impatient with any large format idiosyncrasies.

We shot two Delta 100 and two Hp5 400 sheets and they all came out beautifully. We even like the light leak from this large format film holder.

Melanie Rice

August 2021

Melanie is a news anchor at eTV News in South Africa, and is also a hard hitting journalist and interviewer. For this, more casual shot Melanie sat in our special peacock chair (not made with real peacocks).

Leigh

October 2020

This was the very first 8x10 photo Leigh and I took with our Intrepid Camera. I held a 50mm lens backwards to get focus on the screen and a red silicone cake tin as a safelight (it worked remarkably well).

Skates

December 2020

Leigh and I have started to take photographs of objects, from the iconic to the ordinary. We found this pair of skates at a thrift store and decided they should be our first subject.
