Tommy Robinson (real name Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon) is the co-founder of the English Defence League, and I went to his 2025 ”Unite the Kingdom” rally in London. After a crowded, but peaceful start I found myself caught between thousands of now drunk and violent marchers and a row of riot police attempting to protect a very small group of anti-fascist protesters. The Unite the Kingdom marchers became more an more unhappy that I was taking pictures and I was assaulted by two particularly loathsome family men from Brighton.
